Santa’s workshop is already buzzing with activity, and he’s checking his lists twice.

Kenton County Parks and Recreation and the Kenton County Public Library announced the return of its popular “Letters to Santa, Letters from Santa” program beginning Nov. 17. Through this program, children can send their letters to Santa and receive a personalized reply before Christmas.

Santa Express Mailboxes will be available at the following locations through Dec. 15 with no postage required:

Mailbox locations include:

  • Kenton County Government Center: 1840 Simon Kenton Way, Covington
  • Kenton County Animal Services: 1020 Mary Laidley Dr., Covington
  • Historic Kenton County Courthouse: 5272 Madison Pike, Independence
  • Kenton County Public Library – Covington: 502 Scott Blvd., Covington
  • Kenton County Public Library – Erlanger: 401 Kenton Land, Erlanger
  • Kenton County Public Library – Independence: 1992 Walton-Nicholson, Independence
  • Kenton County Public Library – Latonia: 3911 Winston Ave., Covington

The mailboxes are available during each location’s regular business hours. Letters can also be submitted online here.

Santa, of course, knows where each child lives, but the post office needs a full and legible address for delivery. Each child at the same address will receive a unique note from Santa, so please double-check that names and addresses are clearly written.

The program is free; however, Kenton County Parks and Recreation invites you to spread holiday cheer by donating a non-perishable food or personal care item for Be Concerned when you drop off your letter.
