Fort Mitchell-based Drees Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in Greater Cincinnati, has announced the appointment of a new executive to lead its Midwestern market.
Scott Drees, the great-grandson of founder Theodore Drees, was named Midwest regional president, overseeing divisions in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Cleveland, Columbus and Indianapolis.
“I’m honored to step into this role at such an exciting moment for Drees Homes,” Scott Drees said in a news release. “As we prepare for our 100th anniversary in 2028, my focus is on building momentum—supporting our teams, strengthening partnerships and delivering exceptional homes throughout the Midwest.”
Drees joined the company in 2015 as a builder trainee and has progressed through several leadership positions, such as Midwest land acquisition manager, Indianapolis sales manager and townhome division president. Prior to Drees Homes, he was a project engineer with three national construction firms.
Drees succeeds retiring executive Steve Tuckerman, who spent 39 years in the homebuilding industry. Tuckerman joined Drees Homes in 2004, serving as Cleveland division president before leading the Midwest region for the past 11 years.
