A crash where a truck is leaking methane fuel has closed Interstate 71 in Gallatin County.
Both directions of the interstate were closed at one point but as of 10:56 a.m., one lane in each direction is now open.
Both southbound lanes are expected to open before noon but the northbound lanes will be closed for roughly 5 hours, according to Gallatin County Emergency Management, as crews work to remove the truck and clean up the site.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
