Impact Northern Kentucky, a nonprofit of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, is honored to announce the Leadership Northern Kentucky (LNK) and Regional Youth Leadership (RYL) classes of 2016. LNK and RYL use the community as a classroom to develop leaders to effectively serve the region. These programs are designed to help a diverse group of potential, emerging, and existing community leaders acquire an understanding of the strengths and challenges of the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area, and the skills necessary to motivate and engage others in collaborative efforts to address them.

The 51 participants of the LNK Class of 2016 will participate in the eight-month long program representing a cross section of the community, including business, government, education, media, non-profit agencies, health services and community organizations.

“We have assembled a great team and look forward to leading this group to have an imaginative and intentional impact on Northern Kentucky and our region.  LNK programs will expose the class to many of the issues surrounding our region, and show where we need to collaborate and get better at making this the best place to live, work and play. This will allow them to immerse themselves in organizations and causes where they can be the most effective and become change makers.  Watch for great things to come from the Class of 2016 with our theme of Imaginative and Intentional Leadership,” said LNK 2016 Chair Amy Quinn, Vice President of Commonwealth Bank and Trust Company

The RYL Class of 2016 is comprised of 48 students representing 38 different high schools in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Throughout the eight-month program, RYL unites these young leaders so that they may identify, develop, refine, and practice their leadership skills in order to become catalysts for change. Students participating in Regional Youth Leadership are presented with new challenges and opportunities for intellectual, creative, social and personal growth.
