Erlanger’s annual Summer Sendoff event will return next week on Sept. 19. The event celebrates the end of the summer and will feature a 5K event in the morning, followed by festivities, live music and other activities in the evening.
The 5K run/walk will take place at Silverlake Park from 8 to 10 a.m.; registration is $30 and includes a Summer Sendoff t-shirt. The evening event will begin at 4 p.m. and will feature two live bands, activities and games for the whole family and vendors from around the city and region.
