Members of the Covington Catholic Colonels basketball team that brought the state title back to the region will receive their commemorative rings next week.
A ceremony is set for Wednesday, August 6, at 7 p.m. inside the school’s gym in Park Hills. Bishop Roger J. Foys will bless the rings.
Game highlights will be shown and speakers will share stories from the school’s run to its first ever state title.
Following the ceremony, a reception, a question-and-answer session, and player autographs will take place in Williams Way.
Championship gear will be available for purchase. The public is invited to the event.
