BM2 Freight Services,
Inc. Â participated in the Movember initiative,
helping raise funds an awareness to men’s health issues such as prostate cancer
and colon cancer.  As an employer of 15
men, BM2 Freight offered up a $50 donation for each employee that would grow a
mustache for the month of November.  9
of the 15 men took part and BM2 made a $450 donation to Movember.com
“I was extremely proud of the
level of participation,” said BM2
Freight’s co-founder, Kevin Ball. “60%
of our staff took part without any sort of personal incentives to do so.  We had shirts made up and it made for a fun
environment while also creating much-needed awareness for men’s health that
affects us all one way or the other.”
BM2 Freight was
started in 2008 with only 3 employees and in the past five years has grown to
have revenues in excess of $12M per yearÂ
