I love the team we’ve assembled at LINK. In our quarterly strategic planning session last month, we were marveling at how well everyone in our organization exemplifies our values, gets the work done, and gets along with each other.
As a veteran of lots of workplaces, I know how special that is. Bringing a team together is never easy, and in a startup where no one knew anyone else before they got here (except Mark Collier and Michael Monks), it’s practically unheard-of.
The fact that we’ve found such a great group of folks in the beginning makes this next phase of our organization even more exciting.
But don’t worry – none of the reporters, editors or relationship managers you’ve come to know and love are leaving. These positions are all new. We’re set to grow our team by 30% over the next couple of months.
The first three positions we need to fill are all full-time, permanent hires. They will require folks to work in our office in Covington, but with the potential to also work from home sometimes. All positions are salaried, with PTO, benefits and paid holidays.
- Print Editor – Putting together a print product isn’t easy, and we need someone with great attention to detail, editing skills, and who loves the smell of newspapers.
- Digital Editor – We are a digital-first organization, and editing, posting, sharing, and distributing the huge amount of digital content we produce is a full-time gig.
- Advertising Sales Representative – We need someone to help us sell all the wonderful advertising, sponsorships and events that we are producing now, and will be in the next 12 months.
