St. Elizabeth, Northern Kentucky’s largest healthcare provider, received the Northern Kentucky Community Award from the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce at its August Board of Directors meeting.
The award recognizes individuals, businesses, and organizations for their impact on the Northern Kentucky region. To qualify for the award, an individual, business, or nonprofit organization must be operating within the Northern Kentucky metropolitan area.
“St. Elizabeth Healthcare is far more than a hospital system; they’re a genuine community partner,” NKY Chamber of Commerce CEO Brent Cooper said in the release. “From offering mobile cardiovascular and mammography units to hosting educational classes and events, this community is touched by St. Elizabeth every day. We are honored to present this hospital system, and all who work there, with the Northern Kentucky Community Award.”
The award comes after U.S. News & World Report earlier this month ranked St. Elizabeth’s Edgewood campus as the top hospital in Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati for the second consecutive year.
