Covington Catholic moved up a spot on the boys side in a tie for fourth while Newport remains ranked No. 6 as they head to the All “A” state tournament on Thursday. Cooper is holding strong at No. 3 on the girls side ahead of the Republic Bank Louisville Invitational Tournament this week while Holy Cross jumps into the top 10 to No. 8 after being No. 11 last week. Ryle also moves into the top 10 up two spots from No. 12 last week while Notre Dame dropped two spots to No. 11 after their loss to Holy Cross last week.

The poll is made up of 16 media voters throughout the state, a voter representing each region in the state. The poll will run through the end of the regular season and leading into district tournaments.
