St. Henry boys basketball head coach Dave Faust moved to 460 career victories as the Crusaders (9-9 overall) downed the Boone County Rebels (1-16), 74-63 in Florence. Faust tied Highlands legend Ken Shields’ 460 wins.
Faust can break the record if St. Henry downs Bluegrass United, a home school team out of Lexington, at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Rebels travel to Mason County for a 2:30 p.m. game Saturday.

Highlands 69, Holmes 31
The Bluebirds (17-6) downed the Bulldogs (0-17) in Covington in 9th Region play behind 11 three-pointers.
Highlands saw nine different players score making 67 percent of its free throws. Junior guard Nathan Vinson scored 14 points and senior guard Will Herald scored 13 with junior Brayden Moeves scoring 11.
Holmes made three triples and 50 percent of its free throws. Sophomore Joseph Meyer and freshman Mark McCutchin scored eight each to lead the Bulldogs.
Highlands travels to Cooper (12-8) on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Holmes ventures to Dayton on Monday for a 7:30 p.m. game.
