The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce (NKY Chamber) has announced the speakers for the first-ever Disrupt HR Northern Kentucky event, featuring fast, high-energy presentations designed to provoke new ways of thinking and spark fresh ideas in the field of human resources. The format encourages bold perspectives on talent, leadership, and workplace culture.

The event is scheduled for 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, in Griffin Hall at Northern Kentucky University. Fourteen speakers will have five minutes each and 20 PowerPoint slides to present about any topic that is relevant to the world of work. With different industry and career backgrounds – some of which don’t include HR – attendees will hear a variety of perspectives on talent that can often get lost in the traditional realm of human resources.

“DisruptHR Northern Kentucky is the perfect way to break the mold and empower HR professionals to think about talent and leadership in a way that they likely never have before,” said Nancy Spivey, vice president of talent strategies at the NKY Chamber. “The world of talent and leadership is always evolving, and we are excited to continue pushing forward and providing Northern Kentucky’s business community with an opportunity to learn from peers – both in and outside of the HR industry.”
