Competing for talent in today’s market can be challenging. Hiring people with the right skills saves businesses time and money. Many companies are implementing skills-based hiring strategies to improve their results.

NKY Works, in partnership with the NKY Chamber of Commerce and Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Foundation, is offering a virtual learning opportunity to help small and mid-size employers align their hiring process to attract candidates with the necessary skills for open roles.

Over two 90-minute sessions, participants will learn how to:

*Identify and define the skills needed for specific roles

*Write job descriptions that reflect real competencies

*Design a skills-based interview process

*Select candidates based on demonstrated ability

*Onboard and develop new hires using skills-based practices

The price is $99 for two 90-minute sessions (3 hours total). NKY Works is offering a limited number of scholarships to businesses. Email NKYWorks@NKADD.org to request funding.

This program is open to organizations with 500 or fewer full-time employees. HR staff, hiring managers, and/or senior executives are encouraged to participate.

Two, two-day sessions are available, one in May and one in June.
