Braxton Brewing is set to celebrate its 11th anniversary this week with live musical performances and the unveiling of a new beer.
Founded in Union by brothers Evan and Jake Rouse and their father, Greg, in 2014, Braxton has grown into the largest brewery in Northern Kentucky. Braxton opened its flagship taproom at 27 W. 7th St. in Covington the following year.
To celebrate the milestone, Braxton will host an anniversary party at its Covington taproom on Saturday, April 25, starting at 11 a.m.
Braxton will release Vino De Naranja, a citrus ale brewed in collaboration with Castle & Key that features orange and citrus notes with a hint of spice and a bourbon finish. in addition, Molly Wellmann will be serving specialty cocktails throughout the afternoon
Braxton’s rooftop is open all day for the official kickoff of the rooftop season. Destiny Dawn will kick things off live in the taproom from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by Matt Waters and the Recipe from 3 to 6 p.m. The celebration then moves upstairs, where DJ Ruze will take over the rooftop from 7 to 11 p.m.
