Gov. Andy Beshear released his tax returns on Monday, showing he made nearly $194,000 from his salary and stock dividends in 2022.

Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman also released hers, which reveals a total income of roughly $192,000.

Beshear, who is facing reelection in 2023, also called on other constitutional officers and those in elected office to release their tax returns.

“Throughout my entire time in elected office, I have worked hard to be transparent with Kentuckians and to earn their trust,” Beshear said. “All public officials should work to earn the public’s trust and to demonstrate that their only interests are what’s best for the people of the Commonwealth. This used to be expected. Now, sadly, it’s the exception.”

The governor and lieutenant governor also released their 2022 calendar year Statement of Financial Disclosure, which elected officials and Executive Branch officers must file by April 15.

The Governor listed three gifts received by the Governor of Kentucky:

  • University of Kentucky basketball tickets
  • University of Kentucky football tickets
  • Honorary membership to the Frankfort Country Club

Beshear also received tickets to the Breeders Cup and a University of Louisville Women’s  Basketball NCAA tournament game. He also received Shady Rays sunglasses.

Here are the returns from the governor and lieutenant governor.
