Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati is set to celebrate the opening of its newly located facility in Florence.
The organization will hold a ribbon-cutting at Florence ReStore on Sept. 5 at 12:30 p.m. The store is located at 7102 Turfway Road in Florence. The event, hosted in partnership with the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, will include tours of the facility and shopping opportunities.
“We are incredibly excited to celebrate the grand opening of our newly relocated Florence ReStore,” ReStore Director at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Cincinnati Steve Wilt said in a news release. “This ReStore is not your average retail store; it’s a vital hub where every shopper, donor, and volunteer can help build a stronger community by creating and preserving affordable homeownership opportunities. Not to mention, the ReStores are full of unique treasures at a great value.”
Habitat ReStores sell new and used household items and building materials, with proceeds supporting Habitat’s affordable housing programs. Donations and sales help fund home construction and preservation efforts.
