The Giving Voice Foundation, a nonprofit that focuses on services for seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, will raffle off a five-bottle set of rare bourbon starting later this week.
The raffle will serve as a way to raise funds for the foundation’s services.
“Behind every raffle ticket is an opportunity to make a real impact,” said Giving Voice Foundation Founder and Board President, Dr. Christian Gausvik. “By participating, supporters are helping ensure older adults and families impacted by dementia have access to connection, community and programs that improve their quality of life. Together, we are building a dementia community where no one feels alone.”
The set is a Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, a five-bottle set that includes the distillery’s George T. Stagg Bourbon, Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye Whiskey, Sazerac Rye 18-Year-Old Whiskey, William Larue Weller Bourbon and Eagle Rare 17-year-old Bourbon. Altogether, the set is worth over $10,000, according to the foundation.
The foundation hopes to raise at least $35,000 from the raffle. Tickets go on sale Sunday, June 14, and winners will be announced on July 11 at Revival Vintage Bottle Shop in Covington. Participants must be at least 21 years old to participate. A single ticket is $25, and five tickets can be purchased for $100.
