Students from Holmes High School participated in the district’s fourth annual Bulldogs Give Back last week.

The event is “a service-learning project that aims to give back to the community while providing students with valuable experiences in service, community engagement, learning and fun,” according to a social media announcement from the district. The students get to choose from a variety of projects, including painting, cleaning, organizing, planting, packing and creating

Students performed various service projects throughout town, including cleaning up litter and trash throughout the city, packing lunches for the Parish Kitchen, helping out refugees with their English skills and organizing clothing at St. Vincent de Paul’s thrift store, among other activities.
