The Kenton County Fiscal Court and the Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force jointly honored the Matt Haverkamp Foundation at the fiscal court meeting on March 26.

Named after Golf Manor K9 officer Matt Haverkamp, “since its launch, the foundation has purchased 106 K9s for Greater Cincinnati police departments, including 10 in Northern Kentucky,” said a social media announcement from the fiscal court. “And in mid-March, an officer with Northern Kentucky Drug Strike Force became the latest recipient of their generosity and began the four-week training program for his new partner.”
