The Kentucky League of Cities presented Dayton City Clerk Tristan Klein with a Level II Excellence in City Governance award.
The league administers the City Officials Training Center, a voluntary education program. City officials can complete education levels by attending the group’s events and submitting outside educational credit from other municipal training.
“KLC is committed to helping local leaders continuously learn and grow,” KLC Executive Director and CEO James D. Chaney said. “The award earned by Clerk Klein is a testament to her dedication to ongoing education and the community she serves.”
The Level II Excellence in City Governance award requires a city official to attend a minimum of 60 hours of approved training with two hours of ethics training.
