The Fort Mitchell Police Department is seeking information on the suspect of a robbery that occurred Friday evening outside the Fort Mitchell Drug Shoppe on Dixie Highway.
According to a department press release, the victim met up with the suspect to purchase a cell phone the suspect had advertised on Facebook Marketplace. When they met, the suspect brandished a black handgun and threatened to shoot the victim. The suspect eventually fled on foot toward Huckleberry Hill, where he entered either a white or grey sedan and drove off.
The suspect is a Black man in his twenties. His picture pulled from a security camera is below. Anyone with any information on the suspect or the getaway vehicle should contact Detective Hamblin with the Fort Mitchell Police Department at 859-331-2823, extension 305.
