The Covington Cryptid Block Party will host its second annual event this weekend outside of the Hellman Creative Center in Covington.
Cryptids are defined as “creatures that people believe exist, but can’t prove…yet,” by the event’s website, so attendees can search for the unknown and support local businesses at the same time.
Numerous local food vendors, craftspeople, and other businesses from around the region are slated to participate, including Bircus Brewing Co., Earth 2 Kentucky, Laughing Bees Honey and more.
The event is set for Saturday, Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will also host a food drive, where local people can drop off unexpired produce, cheese, water and microwavable meals.
