The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the Ohio Department of Transportation are hosting two open house events this August to update the public on the $3.6 billion Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project.
The meetings will allow the public to browse exhibits, review project information, provide comments and talk one-on-one with the project team. No pre-registration is required.
The Kentucky open house is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in Covington.
The Brent Spence Bridge Corridor Project will affect around eight miles of Interstates 71 and 75 through Kentucky and Ohio. It also includes the addition of a new companion bridge to the west of the existing Brent Spence Bridge. The project’s goal is to reduce congestion, improve traffic flow and safety and maintain key regional and national transportation corridors.
