Site development is currently underway for a $30 million condominium complex coming to the southern Boone County city of Walton.
Named the “Crossings” and “Walton Square,” the 125-unit condominium community will be located off Mary Grubbs Highway. The development is also within walking distance of the Walton Towne Center, home to Kroger, Kohl’s and Starbucks.
“We have seen tremendous success with our condominiums in Northern Kentucky and are excited to bring this offering to Walton,” Northern Kentucky Market President Jason Finch said in a press release. “We expect to see considerable demand for this community, given the serene yet convenient location.”
The condos will have up to 1,500 square feet of living space, with certain units offering attached garages. Buyers can choose from a variety floor plans, and yard work and snow removal services are included. Sales are anticipated to begin at the end of the summer.
Since 2000, Walton has added over 3,000 residents, according to U.S. Census Bureau data. With the increase in population, not only in Walton but all of Boone County, there has been rising demand for homes.
Fischer Homes, headquartered in Erlanger, is the largest home builder in Northern Kentucky and is the 10th largest privately-held home builder in the United States.
