This story has been updated after the Boone County Sheriff’s Office has located the missing person.
Carson E. Current, 22, was located in Covington after a Golden D alert was issued.
Current was missing as of Tuesday, Feb. 28, and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office was asking for the public’s help locating him.
Current is diagnosed with a developmental disability and was believed to be on foot as he does not have access to a vehicle.
He is a 5-foot-2 white male weighing approximately 173 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, an Erlanger or Florence Fire Department pullover, a beige Menard’s ballcap, a blue shirt and white New Balance shoes. He is also reportedly wearing a gold ring on his right hand.
Anyone with information on Current’s location is asked to call 911.
