Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport announced Wednesday that direct flights to London will begin in June 2023.

This will be the only direct flight between the UK and all of Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana, creating new opportunities for tourism and business across both sides of the pond.

“The economic impact of this transatlantic flight is exponential for business travel, economic development, and tourism between the UK and our area of the United States,” said Candance McGraw, chief executive officer for CVG. “We look forward to a strong partnership with our new friends across the pond for many years to come.”

The flight will operate five times per week in the summer season and four in the winter.

“This non-stop flight will be a huge boost to tourism development,” said meetNKY President and CEO Julie Kirkpatrick. “Tourists can try some Cincinnati chili and wash it down with some Kentucky bourbon.”

Tickets for the British Airways flight are on sale now at an introductory rate of $665. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
