If elected, Frances Hoffman said her intent is to work with city council to rebuild the confidence and trust of the Fort Thomas citizens toward their local government.

Hoffman faces 10 opponents in the Nov. 3 general election: Allison Alessandro, Steve Arey, Ken Bowman, Adam Blau, Mary Anne Brown, Brad Fennell, Lauren McIntosh, Ben Pendery, Brandon Roller and Eric Strange.

“We can do this by curtailing all unnecessary spending until the forensic audit is complete and the city finances are accounted for and completely balanced,” Hoffman said. “We must also be completely transparent in all of our city spending and allow citizens access to all city spending records.”

Hoffman said Fort Thomas is a safe, family oriented suburban community with an amazing  independent school system that as of March 2026 ranked second in the state. The city’s location, she said, allows people easy access to any and all amenities. These are the reasons Hoffman said people move to Fort Thomas and the reason property values continue to rise.

As a city council member, Hoffman said her job would be to protect, preserve and enhance the community and to be a voice for citizens.
