The final week is here!
This year at LINK nky, we decided to add some fun to our football coverage. We’re going to do a weekly picks contest with the three of the sports writers (Evan Dennison, Ray Schaefer and Josh Kalb) we have here and throw in a little twist…a guest picker each week. The guest picker will most likely be someone you recognize as a member of our community, whether it be someone who is on the sidelines with us, sports TV personalities, former coaches or players or someone who may not even be entrenched in the sports scene, but still invested in our communities to some capacity.

This week’s guest picker: Shayne Beckett
Shayne comes into the final week with a lot of pressure! Can the guest pickers make the jump up to the top? They are only three games back of Josh, as is Evan. Ray gets the dunce hat for the season.
Shayne is a member of the NKY Sports Hall of Fame for his football accomplishments as a tailback at Boone County High School. Shayne is a family man and a lifelong resident of NKY. Currently, Shayne is Sales Leader for Will-Son Distributing and BG Products. Prior to this football season, Shaye enjoyed seven years as the Director of Football Operations at Cooper High School.
