Brighton Center’s used toy sale is back, where every toy costs just a nickel, dime or quarter.
Brighton Center’s annual used toy sale is happening Dec. 6, at 741 Central Ave. in Newport. Hot chocolate will be available in the parking lot, and Santa Claus usually makes an appearance.
The sale starts at 10 a.m. (but several kiddos line up early). There is no limit on the number of toys per child, and the sale ends when there are either no more toys or no more children shopping.
Toys will be a nickel, a dime and a quarter. This is an opportunity for children 2 to 12 to shop for themselves, friends or family members. Only children shop, and parents will wait outside in the parking lot.
