The Fort Thomas Lions Club announced this week that its annual pancake breakfast — which was paused after 2019 because of the pandemic — is back this year.

And it’s free.

The event, held at Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, is usually $5 per person. This year, the Lions Club is simply asking for donations to help cover the cost of the event.

“We are excited to return our time-honored pancake breakfast tradition for the first time since 2019 and we wanted to give back to the community in a meaningful way,” said Josh McIntosh, president of the Fort Thomas Lions Club. “By offering a free pancake breakfast, we hope to provide a fun and affordable way for families to come together and enjoy a meal.”

All proceeds go toward supporting local charities, schools and organizations, according to a press release.

The pancake breakfast is scheduled for Sunday, March 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the cafeteria at Highlands High School, located at 2400 Memorial Parkway in Fort Thomas.
