Today kicks off Brain Injury Awareness Month! The month of March is dedicated to spreading awareness about the impact brain injury has on individuals’ lives.
The Brain Injury Alliance of NKY (BIANK) is a non-profit organization focused on serving those affected by brain injury through advocacy, education, prevention, service, and support. BIANK does this through a variety of avenues, including but not limited to:
- Monthly Bridges Support Group
- Monetary Assistance
- Grocery Assistance
- Transportation Assistance
- Fee-Free Casework
- Fee-Free Point of Contact
- Annual NKY Brain Injury Conference
- Annual Community Gatherings
- Helmet Giveaway Program
If you are a brain injury survivor or caregiver, we invite you to join this community and take advantage of the resources BIANK has to offer!
To raise support to pour into the local community of brain injury survivors, BIANK is hosting a Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Raffle! Only 1,000 tickets are being sold at $100 each and one grand prize winner will receive a full set of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon. The raffle drawing is THIS Monday, March 3rd at 3:00 pm. Grab your ticket while you have the chance: https://go.eventgroovefundraising.com/biankpappyraffle
Thanks so much for taking the time to learn more about BIANK and considering supporting our efforts! We are excited to expand our resource programs, partner with local professionals, and connect with more brain injury survivors this year. Please reach out with questions or referrals at (859) 379-8230 or info@biank.org.
