Frontier Airlines is set to open a new crew base Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport next year.
Scheduled to open in March, the new base will “bring 240 flight attendant and pilot positions to the region and is estimated to generate nearly $27 million annually in local wages,” said a Facebook post from the airport.
A crew base is the “location designated by a certificate holder where a flight attendant normally begins and ends her/his duty periods,” says lawinsider.com.
In celebration of the announcement, the airline is offering fares from $39 when purchased by Nov. 24, which are valid through Dec. 20.
