Northern Kentucky’s largest healthcare provider recently announced the hiring of their newest vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Chris Johnson assumed the role on July 24. Johnson is tasked with supporting St. Elizabeth’s efforts to provide culturally competent care to patients at all times and recruit, develop, promote and retain an inclusive workforce.

Prior to St. Elizabeth, Johnson served in a similar role at the law firm of Frost Brown Todd. His responsibilities in the role were leading the firm’s workplace experience initiatives, client and community engagement, workforce representation, as well as broader firmwide inclusion and belonging efforts.

In addition to his corporate resume, Johnson has also spent time in the public sector serving as the executive director for Commonwealth of Kentucky’s Office of Diversity, Equality, and Training.
