The Kentucky Nonprofit Network, a consortium of the commonwealth’s nonprofit organizations, has named a new director of learning and capacity.

Aimee Jewell, a veteran of Kentucky’s nonprofit sector, will manage the creation and implementation of educational programs for nonprofit professionals across the state. She will oversee the organization’s statewide education strategy and program offerings, designing training sessions, workshops and leadership initiatives that provide charitable nonprofits with the essential tools and expertise to succeed.

“Aimee’s experience designing leadership programs, facilitating community partnerships, and equipping professionals with practical tools for impact makes her an exceptional addition to the KNN team,” KNN CEO Danielle Clore said in a news release. “Her work leading programs at Leadership Louisville Center, overseeing nonprofit consulting initiatives, and creating engaging adult-learning experiences demonstrates both the vision and expertise needed to strengthen capacity across our sector. We are thrilled to welcome Aimee to KNN as another investment in the people and organizations working every day to build stronger Kentucky communities.”

Jewell brings more than 10 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, program development and organizational capacity building. Throughout her career, she has led strategic planning efforts and directed nationally recognized leadership programs, including Ignite Louisville, Encore Louisville and Focus Louisville.
