On Thursday, the NKY Urban Forestry Council recognized those that have supported arboriculture in Northern Kentucky at its 2019 Trees in our Communities Forum and Dinner. The awards and recipients were:
- Outstanding Forestry Project: City of Southgate Park and Tree Board – Arbor Day
- Outstanding Forestry Community: City of Covington and Covington Urban Forestry BoardÂ
- Outstanding Corporate Sponsor: Great Lakes Brewing Company
- Outstanding Forestry Leader: Luke SaunierÂ
- Outstanding Council Service: Tara SturgillÂ
