The Boone County Animal Shelter is offering a sweet incentive to adopt a furry friend this week.
Kona Ice is teaming up with the Boone County Animal Shelter, 5620 Idlewild Road, Burlington on Oct. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. for a special adoption day event aimed at helping local shelter pets find their forever homes.
Anyone who attends will receive a free Kona Ice and have the opportunity to meet and potentially adopt a forever friend.
