A crash shut down U.S. 27 between Low Gap Road and Autumn Lane in Alexandria early Tuesday morning.
Police were also spotted searching for someone in the nearby woods following the crash.
According to media reports, a semi-truck was stolen in Sharonville, Oh., and was then tracked to Amelia, Oh., where lawn equipment was reportedly stolen.
A police pursuit ensued in Ohio and Kentucky, resulting in multiple vehicles being struck, including at least one police cruiser.
The road was closed for nearly three hours.
As of 8:45 a.m., the suspect, who fled from the scene after the crash, had not yet been located by police.
