Acendion Collective, a subsidiary of Fischer Homes, celebrated the completion of core structural work for its Cityview Station development in Ludlow on Thursday.
The event featured a ceremonial raising of the final roof truss for the apartment buildings and unveiled the official name for the apartment community: the Rivea of Cityview Station.

“We spent the past year establishing the foundation, the structure, the core of this community, and now we’re beginning a handoff,” said David Spaulding, the president of Acendion Collective. “The core and shell teams have brought us to this point, and we’re turning the project over in many ways to the interior trades, who will now ramp up and bring the inside of these buildings to life.”
Spaulding and other members of the project team thanked all of the tradespeople and workers who had contributed to the project thus far at the event.
The ceremony took place exactly one year after company and community leaders broke ground on the project. Spaulding told LINK nky that the goal was to begin leasing the apartments in the first building in about eight months, with the leases in the remaining buildings taking place in the subsequent two months. The complex will have 273 apartments.

“This is going to be an expansive courtyard with incredible views of Union Terminal and the river just on the other side,” said Jess Fitzwilson, Acendion’s vice president of operations, while standing in the center of the three buildings.
Included in the complex will be a large pool, a courtyard, a lounge, a fitness center, a dog park, individual storage units and about 400 parking spaces. Units will also have private garages. Due to its location on the hill, the complex will have an ideal view of downtown Cincinnati, hence the complex’s name.
Greg Fischer, Acendion Collective’s chair, sits on the Managing Board of LINK nky, which oversees the business operations of LINK but has no say in editorial matters.
