It has been quite a week at Hotel Covington.
First, West Brewing launched its Northern Kentucky presence there, and then Travel Channel showed up to shoot an episode of Food Paradise at Coppin’s.
And now, for the first time, the boutique hotel in downtown Covington received a 4-Diamond rating from AAA.
AAA notes Hotel Covington as being eclectic and unusual, with items like a Magic 8-ball (a local invention) in every room, while predicting that guests will enjoy an elegant, pleasurable stay.
Seven hotels in Kentucky received the coveted 4-Diamond rating, with five of them in Louisville, one in Lexington, and Hotel Covington.
Five Cincinnati hotels achieved the rating: the Cincinnatian, the 21c Museum, the Hilton Netherland Plaza, the Westin, and the Renaissance Downtown.
