On Wednesday, The Gruff opened its doors at Greenup and Second Street in downtown Covington for the first time. Owned by Avram and Kristin Steuber, The Gruff is a pizzeria and delicatessan whose menu offers a little something for everyone, including brick oven pizzas, salads, sandwiches and a few rotating specials.
In addition to the restaurant, The Gruff features a full bar with eight taps and also stocks a variety of specialty items and groceries including milk, eggs, bread, beer, and wine.
