Kentucky adds benefit to ease veterans’ transition to law enforcement
Gov. Andy Beshear announced Thursday that the state is launching a program that allows law enforcement agencies to hire military service members during their last 180 days of service, which allows them to continue receiving their military pay and benefits while they undergo law enforcement training.
