Holmes’s girls basketball coach Tony Perkins will be named 9th Region Coach of the Year during the March 14 session of the Kentucky Girls Basketball state tournament. Perkins improved the team’s record to 18-9, a big improvement over last year’s 13-18 finish. All 9th Region coaches voted on the award. From Covington Independent Public Schools
