Hudson Blank hit a lay-up at the buzzer to lift second-seeded Dixie Heights to a 61-59 win over St. Henry in the 34th District semifinals at Villa Madonna.
Blank finished with 16 points for the Colonels. Griffen Derry led Dixie Heights with 19 points and Jaxson Gray scored 10.
The Crusaders saw four players score in double figures. Drew Flanagan led the way scoring 17 points with Caden Kunstek scoring 16. Andrew Reis and Brady Shea followed scoring 13 pointe each.
Dixie Heights (18-12) faces Lloyd Memorial in the district championship game back at Villa Madonna on Friday at 7 p.m.
St. Henry finished the season 10-18 overall. The Crusaders graduate eight seniors in Reis, Shea, Carson Shea, Flanagan, Ryan Hartman, Jackson Gross, Shane Helmle and Sam Stigall.

Lloyd Memorial 85, Ludlow 47
The top-seeded Juggernauts cruised to a solid win over the Panthers.
E.J. Walker led Lloyd Memorial with 25 points and Anthony Blaackar scored 19. Elijah Collins and Carter Bresser followed with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Ethan Powell led Ludlow with 14 points. Elijah Perrin and Byron Conley followed with 12 and 10 points, respectively.
Lloyd Memorial (23-8) takes on Dixie Heights in the district championship Friday at 7 p.m.
Ludlow concluded another good season 18-13 with a Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference Division III Tournament crown. The Panthers graduate Powell, Perrin, Prescott Baer and Matt Wolfinbarger.
36th District at Newport
Highlands 90, Newport Central Catholic 85 (2OT)
The Bluebirds survived the battle with the determined Thoroughbreds to make it back to the district championship game for the sixth straight year.
Hank Shick scored 24 points to lead the Bluebirds and Vinny Listerman scored 22. Brayden Moeves and Nathan Vinson followed with 18 points each.
Caleb Eaglin laid everything on the line in his final game for the Thoroughbreds scoring 24 points. Louie Collopy scored 16 points and JJ Luhn scored 11.
Highlands (17-14) takes on Newport in the district championship game Friday at 7 p.m.
NewCath finished 8-22 overall. The Thoroughbreds graduate two seniors in Eaglin and Luhn.
Newport 75, Bellevue 26
The Wildcats shot 49% dominating the Tigers to make it back to the district championship for the 10th straight year.
Taylen Kinney led the way with 20 points with Jabari Covington and DeShaun Jackson scoring 16 and 10 points, respectively. James Turner grabbed 11 rebounds as the Wildcats won the rebounding battle, 49-33.
Noah Frommeyer led Bellevue with 10 points.
Newport (28-3) extended its winning streak to 20 in a row and plays Highlands for the sixth straight year in the district championship Friday at 7 p.m.
Bellevue finishes the season 19-12. The Tigers graduate Frommeyer, Aidan Dickerson, Jackson Fornash, Jase Iles and Curtis Rust from the team.
