Comedian Competing on Netflix’s Kevin Hart’s Funny AF Performs in Northern Kentucky This Weekend
DAYTON, KY — As live voting begins for Kevin Hart’s Funny AF, New York–based comedian Caitlin Peluffo will take the stage at Commonwealth Comedy Club for four performances on Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9.
Peluffo, who is currently competing for a chance at her own Netflix stand-up special, will perform at 7:30 PM and 9:45 PM each night. Tickets are $20.
The timing of the shows coincides with the competition’s semi-finals and finale, which stream live on Netflix May 4 and 5, where audiences vote in real time for their favorite comedians. The series follows comics performing in unconventional venues while competing for a breakout opportunity.
Originally from San Francisco and now based in New York City, Peluffo has built a reputation as a fearless, high-energy performer. She has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and After Midnight, and was named a New Face at the Just For Laughs Festival. She has also been featured on Comedy Central’s “Featuring” series and performs regularly at the Comedy Cellar in New York.
Peluffo has opened for nationally touring comedians including Maria Bamford, Fortune Feimster, Matteo Lane, and Brian Regan, and hosts the long-running podcast Good Time Gal. Her stand-up has also reached a wide online audience, including a Don’t Tell Comedy set with more than 150,000 views.
Known for her sharp writing and unfiltered storytelling, Peluffo’s comedy covers everything from personal misadventures to relationships and the absurdities of everyday life.
Her appearance at Commonwealth Comedy Club offers local audiences a chance to see a nationally rising comedian just days after a major televised competition appearance.
