Newport, KY – June 10, 2025 — Strong’s Brick Oven Pizzeria is excited to announce the relocation of its original Newport location from 336 Monmouth St. to a brand-new home just up the road at 708 Monmouth St. The new location will provide expanded space, more convenient parking, and an enhanced dining experience—including live music!
Longtime fans Cindy Hahn and Steve Glacken were among the first customers through the doors when Strong’s opened in Newport. Inspired by the food and community, they eventually took the leap from loyal guests to proud owner (Cindy) and operations director (Steve).
“We listened closely to what our customers wanted,” said Cindy Hahn. “They asked for more room for their families, easier parking, and a space that could host live music—and we couldn’t be more thrilled to deliver on all of that.”
The original location will close after service on Sunday June 15, to make way for the move. But before we say goodbye, Strong’s will still be part of some exciting events:

The new location at 708 Monmouth St. will continue the same commitment to fresh, authentic, brick-oven pizza that guests have come to love—now with even more room to enjoy it.
“While we’re closing the doors at 336 Monmouth, we’re not saying goodbye,” added Steve Glacken. “We’re bringing everything you loved with us, just in a bigger, better space.”
We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who made memories with us at the original location. Your support, laughter, and appetite for great pizza built the foundation for this exciting next chapter. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new home soon!
