BrightView Health Covington Addiction Treatment Center’s One-Year Anniversary Event Celebrates Recovery Success
This past year the outpatient program helped more than six hundred area residents

BrightView Health’s Covington addiction treatment center is holding a one-year anniversary event to celebrate success: recognizing patients, honoring community partners, and marking one-year of effective addiction treatment in Covington and the surrounding communities. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 22, from 12:30 – 2:30 pm. at 1610 Madison Ave.
BrightView Health provides evidence-based outpatient addiction treatment, including medication assisted treatment (MAT), individual counseling, group therapy, and social services to address the full range of challenges associated with substance use disorders. Each program is personalized to meet the goals and needs of the patient, ensuring the best chance of long-term success.
In the past year, BrightView’s Covington team has provided over 2,176 medical treatments and over 2,865 hours of counseling and therapy for 621 patients. BrightView Health clinicians and counselors serve patients six days a week and provide ongoing support that addresses the whole person, treating addiction through biological, sociological, and psychological means.
By engaging with the BrightView Health program, patients have reported a 50% decrease in emergency room visits over the past year and a 60% decrease in arrests. Addiction treatment improves other areas of the patient’s life as well. BrightView Health patients decrease the use of illicit substances by nearly 70% on average within the first 90 days, with many patients achieving long-term recovery.

Services at BrightView’s Covington center is easy to access and available to hundreds of area residents. The center accepts walk-ins until 5 pm on weekdays, offers same day appointments, and accepts all forms of insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare.
