The Life Skills Training and Trade Certificate Program, offered through a partnership with Enzweiler Building Institute and the Life Learning Center, graduated their inaugural class on Thursday, Jan. 4.

“We are immensely proud of our graduates and the synergies formed through our partnership with Life Learning Center,” said Brian Miller, executive vice president of the Building Industry Association of Northern Kentucky and president of the Enzweiler Building Institute in a press release.

The program is 13 weeks long and provides both practical education in the construction trades as well as general life skills. The program started with help from the Kenton County Fiscal Court and was funded through federal COVID emergency dollars in an effort to build out the construction sector’s skilled workforce.
