You may notice some changes along the 600 block of Monmouth Street in Newport today.
Newport announced via Facebook that it is removing the exterior signs from Huddles Cafe and The Brass Bull. According to the post, the signs are not being discarded or destroyed. They are being removed from the buildings and will be stored inside.
The historic neon signage at the Brass Ass is not being removed and will remain in place.
