Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month this October with Boone County’s first-ever Pride Event.
Organized through a partnership between the Boone County Pride Planning Committee, Kentuckians for the Commonwealth and the Fairness Campaign, the event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Union Presbyterian Church on US-42.
“Boone County Pride is an opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community and supporters to come together to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month,” according to a press release from the committee. “As well as create a joyful and safe space for everyone, regardless of identity or background. All are welcome.”
