The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati Metro will provide free rides from select park and ride locations to this year’s BLINK, an annual outdoor immersive arts event taking place from Oct. 17 to 20.
BLINK announced the general layout of the event this week. The event itself is meant to be walkable, spread across six different zones. It will feature over 80 installations throughout Cincinnati, Covington, and Newport.
Zones include areas at Findlay Market, Over-the-Rhine, Downtown Cincinnati, Covington and Newport. A more detailed map showing the locations of all the installations, as well as information about hospitality and accessibility, will be released in the coming weeks.
TANK fare is free after 6 p.m. all four nights of the event. People can also access free rides from NKU to the Riverfront Transit Authority on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 19.
“Since it spans so much of our urban core, the zones function to help break the experience into more manageable pieces. We invite people to come to each, stay for a while and return the next day to see even more of what makes this event so special,” said Justin Brookhart, executive director of BLINK in a press release.
